Ceramic Enamels
Direct Screen Printing
In direct screen printing, individual screen stencils are created for each color, allowing ink to be applied directly to glass. Our process utilizes two different ink systems: ceramic enamels and UV inks.
Ceramic enamels are a mixture of pigments and finely ground glass that when fired through our high-temperature lehrs, bonds to the glass or ceramic surface.
This makes it a near permanent imprint, that is long lasting and dishwasher-safe. Ceramic enamels are great for full wrap designs up to 8 colors on a wide variety of glass shapes, some of which have expanded print areas!
UV Inks
UV inks offer bold, vibrant color and excellent Pantone matching. They cure instantly under UV light during production, creating a durable, glossy finish.
This process is ideal for colorful designs with up to 7 spot colors. On select items, 4-color process direct screen printing may also be available. Full wrap and process-color artwork is reviewed individually to confirm the best decoration approach
